What is Kickdown?
Kickdown lets you switch to Sport mode with the accelerator pedal, without opening the touchscreen menus.
Set your threshold in the TBG-Chip app, from 60 to 100% pedal pressure. When you exceed it, Sport mode activates.
The car returns to Normal when you brake or when your chosen timer expires. Configure these settings while parked, then keep your attention on the road.
TBG-Chip and TBG Auto are independent of Tesla, Inc. Tesla model names are used to explain compatibility.

Normal → Sport when you exceed your chosen pedal threshold.

Choose your activation threshold from 60 to 100% pedal pressure.

How Kickdown works
① Set your threshold
Choose the accelerator pressure that activates Kickdown in the TBG-Chip app: 60–100%. A higher threshold requires a firmer press.
② Choose when Sport mode ends
Select braking or a timer in the app. Kickdown returns to Normal when your chosen exit condition is met.
③ Keep your attention on driving
Once configured, pressing beyond the threshold activates Sport without using the touchscreen. Adjust settings while parked.
